About GMS

Our Company

G M S Transportation Inc. and its affiliated companies have been in business since 1986. The company is locally owned and provides trucking, import, export, warehousing, and break-bulk services. Over the years GMS Transportation Inc. has developed relationships with many local forwarders, Import brokers and commercial businesses.

Our Staff

We are very proud of our staff, which is made up of 30 very dedicated and professional people with many years of experience. Our staff is always looking for new and better ways to serve our customers.

Our Facility

We occupy a modern 15,000sq-ft. facility with immediate access to Logan Airport and the seaport of Boston. Our warehouse is equipped with 24 hour digitally recorded surveillance, surveillance cameras, and authorized entry keypads, which monitor access to the building. Security is one of our highest priorities.

Our Fleet

Our well-maintained fleet is comprised of over 35 pieces of equipment with air-ride and lift-gate equipment being a standard throughout most of the fleet. We maintain everything from cargo vans up to 53 foot tractor & trailers combinations.

Our Drivers

All of our drivers are employed by our company. They are well trained, professional and courteous representatives of G M S Transportation Inc. Each one is outfitted with Nextel telephones which are GPS location equipped, providing instantaneous communication, for our customer’s needs.
